Neue Synagoge
We begin the tour by examining the former Jewish quarter of Berlin. Here we'll see not just the impressively rebuilt New Synagogue, but also two distinct memorials to Jewish victims and Jewish courage.
Luftwaffe Ministry
One of the many remaining Third Reich buildings we explore is the massive former headquarters of the Nazi air force. This lies directly across from the site of the former Nazi SS and Gestapo headquarters as well.
Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church
In the heart of former West Berlin lies the remnants of the impressive Emperor Wilhelm church. It's an inspiring site at the start of one of Germany's most expensive shopping streets and serves as a constant reminder to the impact of war.

Air Raid Shelter
See one of the last remaining civilian air raid shelters and hear about how they are now being reused. These were typically topped with anti-aircraft guns and filled way beyond capacity during the bloody Battle of Berlin.
Nazi Architecture
There are a few still-used and very impressive examples of Nazi architecture remaining. Your guide will point them out, as well as war damage to these and other structures, along the tour.
Bebelplatz
Bebelplatz was the site of the infamous Nazi book-burning on May 10, 1933. We detail here how Joseph Goebbels, mastermind of the Nazi propaganda machine, started and expanded the Nazi party in Berlin.
Anhalter Bahnhof
See all that remains of Berlin's once glorious Anhalter train station. Not only was this where Mussolini would arrive by rail, but it was also used as a deportation station for Holocaust victims.
Reichstag
At the Reichstag - the parliament building in which Hitler never stepped foot - we explain how Hitler rose to power. We also see the memorial to the 96 parliamentarians who eventually gave their lives after voting against Hitler.
Hitler's Bunker
Stand over the area of Hitler's bunker as we recount in detail the demise of Hitler and the final days of World War II. As one of the final stops on the tour, we use this area to then explain how the Cold War grew from the ashes of WWII.
Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe
This massive new Holocaust Memorial consists of 2711 concrete stella, all at various heights and slight angles. We give you time to explore not only this memorial, but also the contrasting memorial to the homosexual victims to further understand how Germany is coping with its past.
