" Fantastic tour of Potsdam! "

This was a very well organized tour. Very easy to find the bus at Ku'damm. very comfortable bus and trip. The guide in Potsdam was very knowledgeable and explained the history of Potsdam and the royal palaces in a very detailed way. It was a very enjoyable experience.
" misdirected by berlin city tour bus driver "

" Potsdam Tour "
4 out of 5 stars
I chose this tour as it was one of the few that left from Berlin as well as doing a tour inside Sanssouchi Palace. This tour did not disappoint due to the wonderful and infomative tour guide Dagmar. Dagmar’s passion for the region shows through in all of her interactions. Her knowledge of the Potsdam is second to none and made this tour thoroughly enjjoyable
" Total nightmare "
1 out of 5 stars
I’ve been on many countless tours and have never once experienced such appalling negative service by a single staff member. Unlike the other tours I took in Berlin on this trip, the meeting point for the Potsdam tour was not in a convenient centrally located venue such as Alexander Platz. The cab fare just to get to the meeting point cost me 21 euros. I arrived just in the nick of time before the stipulated 10am meeting time. I approached the lady in a yellow vest directing tourists to the yellow hop on/hop off bus from the same company but it was lost in translation. Other than the address and meeting time, we were not given any information on who or what to look out for. I am handicapped but walked up and down the street to look for the bus or other fellow travellers. At 10.05am I ran into fellow French traveller talking to the same lady I approached. He told me our bus had left - he had to go back to his hotel to retrieve the print out he forgot to bring. I was speechless. I followed him to the Berlin City Tours office, struggled up the flight of steps only to be greeted by a staff member who seemed singular in his outlook and mission that morning to point out and underscore we were “not on the bus” .... never mind our effort to explain we were not late and seemed disinterested in our attempts to relate the difficulties we each had. By then I was visibly distraught and upset which he chose to interpret as “unfriendly” and “impolite” and did not hesitate to say so every chance he could. I was even more upset over his outright negative approach and shortsightedness than anything else. There were 2 stranded people he could easily have arranged to catch up with the bus because it was such a short window between the time the bus left and the time we went up to the office. The bus should never have left in the first place. The French traveller should have been allowed to produce a form of ID to validate his booking instead of being made to go back to his hotel. We should have been told to look out for a white bus that says Potsdam at the point of booking and not after the fact. All tours allow and factor in a grace period - I doubt if anyone would be intentionally late for these tours. The staff member could easily have helped us both BUT did not. He elected to lecture us instead and was very personal in both manner and approach. He repeatedly underscored we were not on the bus and pointed out I was not nice, the French traveller was told he is nice. We were spoken to like pre schoolers and not clients that needed help. Mr White was too absorbed in the cursory process of completing his paperwork. No attempts were made to reach the bus driver at all in the time I was there to try and get us onboard. The last straw for me was Mr White’s bizarre and over the top threat to call the police if I didn’t calm down. I told him to please do just that. The French traveller tried to intervene and told Mr White it’s not necessary pointing out I’m handicapped but it fell on deaf ears. Mr White went further to preach I should pray to Jesus for help. I have never been so humiliated and treated so badly and it was so blatantly personal. At the end of the insulting ordeal we were both told he can’t refund us the cost. We have to go through our booking source. It left us stumped and I was lost for words. Why subject us to the painful process at all. At the very end, Mr White informed me the police wasn’t coming. They didn’t call like he claimed. He used the police and made false claims. So much for a relaxing tour to wrap up my stay in Berlin. It left me in tears immediately and long after we left their office. I couldn’t see past my tears, rattled by the incident that ruined the entire day.
" Too short "
4 out of 5 stars
The tour was great, but too short. Our guide was excellent, showing us the highlights of Pottsdam and Sanssouci Palace. But, the time in the old town was too short. Should add 30-60 minutes to allow for walking around, getting lunch, visiting the church, etc.
" Excursion to Potsdam (with Sanssouci Palace) "

Excellent tour. Many historical sites I was interested in were included ("spy" bridge, site of WWII Potsdam conference. The highlight was visiting the magnificent interior of the palace. If I hadn't gone inside I would've have been disappointed.

" Excursion to Potsdam incl. visit to Sanssouci Palace "
5 out of 5 stars
Format of the tour was a vehicle tour of the city, which was very informative and conducted in two languages, followed by a visit to the Sanssouci Palace. Tour was well planned and our guide was great but given the sizes of the halls in the Palace it would have been preferred if the group was smaller (probably about 12 pax).
" Good but could be longer for the price "

Good trip, very informative however not much chance for photo opportunities tho which was a shame as there was lots of things on the trip there I'd like to have taken pictures of including the bridge of spies and the new Palace to name a few
" Very good "

" Potsdam & Sans Souci "
4 out of 5 stars
Good trip - excellent city and palace. Pleasant and helpful guide. We did not understand the need to be back to Berlin by 15:00. This made the trip seem rather rushed. It would have been good to have some more time to see the gardens of the palace on our own and have an hour to get some lunch - ideally in the Dutch quarter of the city - then get back for say 16:30.
" Visit of Potsdam with guided tour of sans souci palace "

Very well run tour. Excellent narration from Helen. We had our own slot to visit palace and it went very smoothly. We spent a short time in the town of Potsdam - a good day out!
" A great morning "
5 out of 5 stars
It was an excellent trip to Potsdam with a visit to Sanssouci Palce, the guide was brilliant with excellent knowledge, would have loved to spend more time to visit the Dutch quarter and Cecilien Hof but that gives me an excuse to return.....a great introductory tour of the area.
" Potsdam visit "

Excellent tour. Well worth the price. Dependable, timely, safe transportation. Excellent tour guide. She (unfortunately cannot remember her name) really knows her stuff. Thanks for the good tour!
" Beautiful Potsdam "

Potsdam and The palaces around it are definitely worth visiting. We had a great guide, would have been goid if we could have visited the SanSoucci gardens in a bit more detail, but overall the tour was very good.
