If you have only full day on the shore, want to see the capital of Germany and enjoy travelling with other people, this tour is for you!
This tour starts directly in front of the cruise terminal. Your bus driver will meet you at your ship and bring you to Berlin in a modern, air-conditioned bus.

When you arrive in Berlin, the tour starts at the Charlottenburg Palace located in the western district of Charlottenburg. After meeting the guide here the tour continues through the western half of the city driving down the beautiful Kurfurstendam stopping for a photo opportunity at the bombed out Kaiser William Memorial Church. The tour then continues through the Central Park of Berlin, the Tiergarten passing the towering Victory Column and jumping out of the bus again at the German Parliment, the Reichstag. From here you will get a chance to stretch your legs as you walk the few hundred meters through the Brandenburg Gateinto Paris Square. After Paris square you will walk through the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe and then to the site of Hitlers Bunker before getting back on the bus. Once back on the bus the next stop is the architecturally amazing Potsdamer Platz and then onto the former site of the SS and Gestapo Headquarters which is now a museum called the Topography of Terror.

This is coincidentally also the first time you will see a stretch of the Berlin wall in its original position so you will once again get a chance to get off the bus and take some photos. The infamous Checkpoint Charlie is the next stop on the tour and after that a lunch break can be taken if so desired.

After lunch the tour heads up to the historic heart of Berlin passing the beautiful Gendarmenmarkt Square and the Book Burning Square before landing on the UNESCO World Heritage Site Museum Island and Berlin's five most famous museums. Depending on how much time is left the tour can continue on to the East Side Gallery and/or the former Jewish Quarter of town which has now become the art district of Berlin.

At the end of the day the bus will bring you back to your ship!

When you disembark your cruise ship please make your way outside the terminal entrance. Here our representative will be waiting for you displaying a sign “TJ Travel / Cruising Excursions / Berlin City Tours / Ulko Tours / DenRus”. If the ship is delayed the starting time will be postponed to 30 minutes after it docks. If for any reason you are not with our driver at this time please call us immediately at +49 176 322 67 204. Please note our bus unfortunately will not be able to wait for you if you are late and do not contact us and we will not be able to provide a refund.

Starting time

The tours start 30 minutes after the cruise ship docks. This ensures you return to the cruise ship plenty of time before it departs. We have been conducting tours from Warnemünde for many years and from our experience 30 minutes is enough for passengers to disembark the ship and find our assistants and there is no need to run! We would certainly not leave if people were still coming out of the ship and if we were still missing passengers who booked with us in advance. We also have an emergency mobile number so that you can contact us should there be any additional issues with leaving the ship.

It was a very long day from Wahremunde, 12 hours in total. Saw most of the sights. Guide was good, only criticism was she did treat us like children at times. Would have preferred her to stick to the facts and not ask us questions all the time.

Highly recommend this tour. Jonathon is amazing, ask for him as your tour guide and you won't be disappointed! We saw so much with so much explanation and detail. Plus this tour was less than half the price of what our ship was charging. Just a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE
